Billing and savings

CostCapper is billed through AWS Marketplace, on your AWS bill: by the hour, for each machine it manages, after the first three, which are free. The Machines page shows how many are billed now. Machines it only lists aren't billed.

Savings

The dashboard estimates what you've saved and spent this month from AWS on-demand prices, compared with running the managed machines around the clock since CostCapper started managing them. Storage and data transfer cost the same either way and aren't counted. A new machine's price appears within a few minutes.
